Hi, my name is Lynn. I have been seeking after the LORD Jesus for over 30 years and for the majority of that time I have been writing about Jesus in one form or another. The writing began with letters to loved ones and friends, the church’s youth group magazine, in poetry for English class, short stories and finally, in an email called The Daily Scripture. Writing has always been very close to my heart and a way that I have found to easily express the things that rest upon my heart. I began writing The Daily Scripture about 18 years ago and for 5 days a week, I’d send a Scripture with a few words of encouragement to help keep people focused on the things that really matter in life, that is, Jesus Christ. There is nothing more important than Him.

I recently decided to put what I have been sharing with friends and family into the form of a website called Selfless Surrender. I have spent the last several years praying about whether or not I should start a website and, finally, I felt the Lord nudge me in this direction. My heart’s desire is to know the Lord Jesus in the deepest way possible and to share my passion with you in hope that you, too, will fall in love with Him over and over again. May you continue to be eternally encouraged through the love and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ as you draw nearer unto Him.
