Songs today do not seem to express the soul’s deep longing for an intimate relationship with Jesus. I want to share with you some of the best old hymns. Some of these hymns have made their way into modern church services, but most often it is only the chorus that has made its way through time and I find that to be somewhat saddening. These hymns are a lost art of sincere worship that is worthy of the Lord Jesus Christ. The WHOLE songs should be sang. Scripture is so delicately woven through the words and so is the message of salvation, mercy and grace. These songs will help you turn your focus fully onto the Lord and help let everything thing else lose its luster.
